Pearlescent Pigments
Kolortek's Pearlescent Pigments range covers eight product series, each built around a distinct substrate, coating chemistry, or effect type. The series are designed to give formulators a clear specification path — from standard silver-white pearl through interference colors, metallic luster, colored mica, and borosilicate glass flake, to edible luster dust and chameleon color-shift grades.
Within each series, grades are differentiated by particle size — from fine satin grades below 15μm for printing inks and smooth cosmetic films through to coarse sparkle grades above 100μm for epoxy flooring and resin art. Natural mica (muscovite) grades cover most standard applications; synthetic Fluorphlogopite alternatives are available across the Silver White, Interference, Gold, Metal Luster, and Multicolor series for applications requiring higher substrate purity, fewer mineral inclusions, or thermal stability above approximately 500°C.
TDS, SDS, and INCI documentation are available for all series. Contact Kolortek to request samples, discuss grade selection, or compare natural and synthetic mica options for your formulation.
