automotive color shift pigment

This is a product page for KT-90245, so I'll build it directly from the knowledge base. One important note before the HTML: the KB flags that "Hypershift" isn't a term it uses, so I'll anchor the copy on the real series name (KT-9000 Magic Chameleon) and use the keyword naturally without pretending it's official naming. I selected 3 keywords: **automotive color shift pigment**, **color shifting pigment for automotive**, and **chameleon car paint pigment**. --- KT-90245 is a blue/green automotive color shift pigment from our KT-9000 Magic Chameleon series — a mica/titanium dioxide/silica multilayer powder that travels from blue to green as viewing angle changes, with a 20–80 μm particle range and a D50 of 25–35 μm. Formulators use it at 1–10% in automotive basecoats over dark or black substrates to build gonochromatic depth, then lock the effect in with a clear topcoat.

KT-95207 is a TiO₂-free hypershift pigment powder from Kolortek's KT-9000 Magic Chameleon Series, producing a continuous four-color travel — blue through violet, red, and orange — as the viewing angle shifts. Built on a natural mica substrate coated with Fe₂O₃ and silica in multiple inorganic layers, it delivers the deep goniochromatic effect that automotive custom finishes demand, with a particle size range of 10–70 μm and a D50 of 24–28 μm for consistent platelet distribution in spray-applied basecoats.

KT-98525 is a TiO₂-free chameleon pigment from our KT-9000 Magic Chameleon series, producing a vivid red-to-green color travel as the viewing angle changes. Built on natural mica coated with Fe₂O₃ and silica, it delivers a strong goniochromatic shift across a broad 30–150 μm particle range — making it a direct candidate for automotive color shift pigment applications in custom basecoat and specialty coating systems. No titanium dioxide is used in the coating stack, which keeps the shift crisp and the color travel fully angle-dependent.

KT-97554 is a green-to-blue colorshift pearl pigment from our KT-9000 Magic Chameleon Series — a multi-layer inorganic effect pigment on natural mica substrate, coated with TiO₂, Fe₂O₃, silica, and tin oxide to produce a pronounced angle-dependent color travel. With a particle size range of 30–115 μm and a D50 of 46–58 μm, it's engineered for automotive basecoat systems where a deep, shifting green/blue goniochromatic effect is the design goal.

Kolortek's Chromashift series is an optically variable pigment engineered for dramatic, high-contrast color shift auto paint effects — shifting between two or more vivid colors as the viewing angle changes. Built on all-inorganic multi-layer interference technology, these pigments deliver the strongest color travel pigment auto paint performance in our portfolio, combining exceptional weatherability with compatibility across solvent-based, water-based, and UV-curable clearcoat systems.

This chameleon paint pigment delivers strong angle-dependent color flow — shifting through pairs like green/red, blue/violet, and gold/green as the viewing angle changes. Supplied as a dry, free-flowing color shift pigment powder, it works in clear-coat automotive systems, custom refinish, and high-end industrial coatings. The same chameleon paint pearls also carry over well into plastics, inks, and synthetic leather where a flip-flop effect is needed.
