KTP-31-BBF is a Blue BPA Free thermochromic pigment with a 31°C activation temperature in the fine 3–10μm particle size range — a food-grade Colored-to-Colorless (C2CL) microencapsulated leuco dye pigment that is blue below 31°C and becomes colorless as temperature rises above the threshold. 

KTP-18-BY is a Yellow thermochromic pigment with an activation temperature of 18°C, in the fine 1–10μm particle size range — a microencapsulated leuco dye pigment that is yellow below 18°C and becomes colorless as temperature rises above the threshold. 

Thermochromic Pigments change color in response to temperature, either transitioning from colored to colorless or shifting between two colors at a defined activation temperature. Kolortek's KTP series covers three sub-categories: colored-to-colorless, colored-to-another-color, and a BPA-free food-grade series. Particle size is 1–10 µm, suitable for inks, coatings, plastics, and cosmetic formulations where a heat-responsive color effect is required.
