Silver white pearlescent pigments are one of the most specified effect pigments across coatings, plastics, printing, and cosmetics — and KT-100 is Kolortek's direct-working equivalent to Iriodin 100. Same mica-titanium dioxide platform, same particle size range, same optical behavior. If your formulation was built around Iriodin 100, KT-100 slots in without reformulation. That said, "equivalent" doesn't mean identical in every edge case. What it means practically: the substrate, platelet morphology, and refractive index are comparable enough that you won't be redesigning your process to accommodate it.

KT-355 is a Glitter Gold natural mica pearlescent pigment in the 20–120μm particle size range — the glitter-dominant gold grade in the KT-300 series, optimized for epoxy flooring, resin art, decorative coatings, craft applications, and nail lacquer where visible individual-platelet gold sparkle is the primary visual requirement. By starting at 20μm rather than 10μm, KT-355 removes the fine background pearl fraction present in KT-351 Flash Gold, concentrating the visual energy toward bold, individual gold flash reflections. The iron oxide and TiO₂ coating produces a warm gold body color visible on any substrate without requiring a dark base — practical for the broad range of base colors encountered in epoxy and decorative applications.

KT-351 is a Flash Gold natural mica pearlescent pigment in the 10–100μm particle size range — the coarser-format gold grade in the KT-300 series, designed for applications where visible individual-platelet gold sparkle is the target effect rather than smooth pearl coverage. The iron oxide and TiO₂ coating on each mica platelet produces a warm gold body color visible on any substrate, while the 10–100μm distribution delivers a flash-sparkle character that distinguishes it from the standard 10–60μm gold pearl grades. For epoxy flooring, decorative resin, craft applications, and nail lacquer where bold gold shimmer intensity matters, KT-351 is the appropriate specification within the KT-300 series.

KT-303 is a Royal Gold natural mica pearlescent pigment in the 10–60μm particle size range — a deeper, more saturated gold tone than the standard KT-300 Gold Pearl grade, achieved through a higher iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) loading on the TiO₂-coated mica platelet. The warm, orange-toned gold body color is visible on any substrate without requiring a dark base — a key practical advantage over interference-only gold grades. At 10–60μm, KT-303 covers cosmetics, nail lacquer, decorative coatings, soap, and epoxy resin applications from a single grade specification.

KT-219 produces a violet interference pearl effect on dark and transparent substrates — a medium-to-thick rutile TiO₂-coated natural mica grade that selectively reflects violet-phase wavelengths through thin-film interference. At 10–60μm, the particle size sits in the balanced range: fine enough for smooth film formation in coatings, cosmetics, and nail lacquer, coarse enough to deliver a perceptible pearl shimmer rather than a flat satin sheen. The violet interference color is substrate-dependent — it will not perform as expected over white, yellow-green, or complementary-colored bases, which is the primary formulation decision buyers need to resolve before specifying this grade.

KT-215 is a red pearl interference mica pigment from the KT-200 Interference Series — a natural mica grade with a medium-layer rutile TiO₂ coating that selectively reflects red-phase wavelengths through thin-film interference. The powder appears white in bulk form; the red pearl color becomes visible when applied over dark or transparent substrates. For cosmetics, nail lacquer, decorative coatings, and printing inks where a clean red iridescent pearl is the target effect, KT-215 delivers consistent interference color determined by coating thickness rather than dye or pigment chemistry — which means the color does not fade or bleed over time in the same way organic colorants do.
