Cosmetic Pigments
Kolortek's Cosmetic Pigments range is structured around three product categories, each serving a distinct formulation function in color cosmetics, skincare, and personal care products.
Cosmetic Pearl Multicolor covers the colored pearlescent pigment range developed specifically for cosmetic use. Substrates include natural mica, synthetic Fluorphlogopite, and borosilicate glass flake — each offering a different luster quality, purity level, and platelet character. The colorants used across this series are selected for cosmetic suitability, and the range spans multiple sub-series to support shade development across eye, lip, face, and nail applications. INCI documentation is available for all grades.
Cosmetic Matte Pigments covers the flat-color inorganic oxide range: iron oxides (yellow, red, black, brown), titanium dioxide, ultramarines (blue, violet, pink), chromium green oxide, carbon black, and D&C / FD&C lake pigments. These are the body-color foundation of most cosmetic formulations — used alone for coverage and tone, or in combination with pearl grades to build depth and dimension. All grades are filtered to remove regulated heavy metal impurities and supplied with Certificate of Analysis documentation.
Cosmetic Fillers & Treated Pigments covers functional ingredients that modify the physical performance of cosmetic formulations rather than contributing primary color: titanium dioxide (rutile and anatase) for opacity and UV function, boron nitride and magnesium myristate for skin feel and texture, surface-treated pigments (including silicone-treated TiO₂) for improved dispersibility and oil absorption control, and other fillers used to adjust slip, coverage, and sensory profile in pressed powder, foundation, and skincare formulations.
TDS, SDS, INCI documentation, and Certificate of Analysis are available across the Cosmetic Pigments range. Contact Kolortek to request samples or discuss grade selection for your specific formulation requirements.
