Cameleon Pigment

KT-98528 is a red/blue-green chameleon pigment powder from our KT-9000 Magic Chameleon Series — a mica-iron oxide-silica composition that delivers a genuine multi-angle color travel effect, shifting between red and blue-green tones depending on the viewing angle. With a particle size range of 30–150 μm and a D50 of approximately 49–65 μm, it produces a high mirror-like goniochromatic finish that we see used across automotive custom finishes, high-end cosmetics, and luxury coatings applications.

Kolortek Chameleon Pigments are color-shifting pearlescent pigments based on layered mineral substrates coated with metal oxides. The pigments produce a visible color travel effect when viewed from different angles. This optical interference creates multi-tone transitions commonly used in automotive coatings, plastics, printing inks, and decorative finishes.
